Rayan is a classical realist painter who studies and teaches at Atelier Melbourne Art Academy.
RAYAN
His paintings are driven by a lifelong practice of turning inwards. Through meditation, contemplative study, and the exploration of consciousness across traditions - Buddhism, Taoism, the Yoga Sutras, ancient wisdom texts, not as doctrine, but as maps. Different languages describing the same territory: the void, the source, the still point beneath all movement where something true lives.
Rayan paints from that place. Classical technique is the anchor, rigorous, disciplined, and earned. But what breathes through the work is what he finds in silence: light, symbol, spirit, the invisible forces that charge ordinary moments with mythological weight.
He is building a world. These paintings are the first glimpse of it.

Trained in the discipline of the Old Masters, his work moves toward something deeper… the threshold where the visible world meets the sacred, where a human face becomes a window into the life lived behind it.
